You've probably got a million questions and that's totally normal!
Here's are the most common ones:
Yes!
I love dogs. I grew up with a Chocolate Lab and I've previously owed a Cairn Terrier (pictured below with me and my original black cat, Panthro). I love seeing Miya, my dad and Step Mum's Shiba Inu, when I visit them (below). Dogs are ace and it's always great to see couple include them in their wedding if possible. As much as I love cats they don't really make good wedding guests sadly!
Short answer: as early as possible.
Date specific suppliers who will be there on the day should be booked as soon as possible so you know you have your preferred people locked in place. Nothing helps smooth wedding planning more than piece of mind! Most couples book 12-18 months ahead, especially for peak weekends. If your wedding is sooner, don’t panic! Drop me a message and we’ll see what’s possible.
Enough to tell the whole story — and then some.
No duplicates. No fillers. No “why is this here?” shots.
There’s no hard number because every wedding is different, but expect hundreds of carefully curated, fully edited images. A full day is always 500+.
Yes, every single one you receive.
Editing is half the magic to make sure your gallery has a consistent look.
Your full gallery lands within 4-5 weeks.
I send out a handful of previews 1-2 days after your wedding day so you have something to share on socials or for thank you cards, etc.
Absolutely. Always quickly and efficiently!
Not all my couples want them but most do, so if you'd like some we’ll plan them in advance, keep them organised, and get everyone back to the fun fast.
You can see examples of group shots on the My Approach page.
Don't worry you are completely normal!
I am exclusively booked by couples who say they hate having their picture taken. I also hate having my picture taken so I completely understand. Couple shoots are always completely optional. I’d say about two third of my couples have them, and it’s always your choice if we do. Couple shoots are relaxed walks in the grounds of your venue, no awkward posing. Just 10 minutes away from the hubbub of the day to slow down and take it all in. Photos are always about the natural connection between the two of you, and I can only capture that by letting you be yourselves.
You can see examples of couples shoots on the My Approach page.
We roll with it. The day won't be able stop because of the weather.
I've shot weddings where there's been battering rain and gales force winds raging all day and whenever the couple has accepted it and just got on with enjoying the day with their guests they have had an amazing time, without exception. Even to the point where afterwards everyone says the rain didn't actually become a problem because they had too much fun.
Yes and I love to do so!
I photograph weddings wherever your story takes me. Travel costs are always included in the price for UK mainland weddings. No surprises. No awkward invoices later.
Of course.
You’ll receive high-resolution images with no watermarks. You have personal usage rights so you can print, share, and relive your day however you like. As can your guests if you choose to share the password with them. The online gallery has a print shop where you can order prints directly.
I've not missed a wedding in the ten years I've been in business. That's over 300 attendance ticks!
In the extremely unlikely event I can’t attend, I have a trusted network of professional photographers who can step in. People who work with a similar ethos to me and will understand the importance of letting the day flow and telling the story uninterrupted. Your wedding will still be covered, and your images will still be edited and delivered by me.
Yes, absolutely!
Your photographer will be at your wedding all day so it’s important to know that you have a rapport and that they’ll fit in with your day. Video calls are a great way for us to meet and talk over your plans. They are completely free and there is no obligation to book me if you have one.
Awesome news!
There's three stages to booking. The booking form, the booking fee and the contract. The booking fee comes out of the overall total. Once that’s done, your date is officially locked in.
This is wedding photography for couples who care deeply about how their wedding feels, not just how it looks. I don’t show up to tick boxes or play it safe.
When you book me you’re not paying for the hours - you’re paying for the experience and instinct gained over 10 years and 300+ weddings to capture real moments.
Since you're not paying for the hours. I don't do hourly rates. Your wedding day isn't limited to being just 8 or 10 hours long so neither is my coverage.
That final embrace at the end of the night is a moment that demands a great photo!
Real Review:
"Tom is a brilliant photographer with a fantastically chill approach. Throughout our wedding in Leeds he made our entire families so comfortable and importantly the photos turned out amazing! We particularly love that he sends the photos in a way so that you can share the link with your guests; looks so special and professional. Can't sing Tom's praises enough!" - Kelli Kennedy
Real Review:
"Tom is an incredible documentary style photographer, we love our wedding photos so much. He’s the photographer for you if you don’t want to spend hours posing for photos and would much rather spend it enjoying the day. Tom stayed at our wedding all day, right up until the last dance which we were so grateful for, as he captured some great photos of everyone on the dance floor. Despite being extremely discreet all day, he managed to capture every single moment and emotion! Tom sent us a few photos the day after the wedding, and we both started crying as soon as we looked at the first one, it summed us and our day up perfectly. We were full of emotions when we received the full set too, they are incredible! Tom is professional but also very relaxed, a pleasure to work with and we couldn’t recommend him more.

Tom was amazing throughout the day, so professional and moving around discreetly to capture every special moment. "Our wedding photos were taken by the masterful Tom Beynon Photography , who has given us a photo gallery that makes us feel like we’re back in the moment every time we look at it (in my case, approx. 3 times a week even 6 months on!). A talented story teller, always managing to be in the right place at the right time. Don’t hesitate, just book." - Kyrie Clarke

"After meeting Tom at a wedding fair in London and seeing his photos, we knew he was definitely the right person to capture our day at Cripps Barn in October 2022. He was absolutely fantastic from start to finish and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him as a wedding photographer. We have had SO many compliments from friends and family about the photos and we cannot wait to get some up on the wall. I cannot thank you enough for the incredible photos you have given us and the overall service you have provided. It was the best day of our lives and every time we look back on the photos they bring us so much joy and happiness." - Charlie Pickford
